In Kazakhstan, Brothers Exchange operates in the country's three largest cities — Almaty, Astana and Shymkent. You can exchange crypto for cash tenge and back. Here is which directions are available, how the tenge rate is calculated and how the exchange works.

Cities

Almaty — the country's largest city and financial centre;
Astana — the capital of Kazakhstan;
Shymkent — the third-largest city and the centre of the country's south.

Available directions

Crypto → cash tenge (KZT): Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT on TRC-20, ERC-20 and TON, and USDC ERC-20.
Cash tenge → crypto — the same assets.
In Almaty and Astana you can also hand over cash euros and receive USDT ERC-20.

For example: USDT TRC-20 to cash tenge, Bitcoin to cash tenge or cash tenge to USDT TRC-20. The rate and the minimum and maximum amounts are shown in the form before you create an order.

How the tenge rate is calculated

A cross rate is used for the tenge: the crypto-to-dollar rate according to CoinMarketCap and the tenge rate according to the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This calculation is transparent and relies on official data. The rate is locked for 60 minutes when the order is created, and the amount you will receive is calculated at that rate.

How the exchange works

Choose the direction, the city and the amount, and enter your Telegram contact and email address.
Create the order — the rate is locked for 60 minutes.
Within 2 working hours, the operator agrees the meeting place and time with you in local time (the operator is online daily from 8:00 to 20:00 Warsaw time).
Selling crypto — send it in a single transaction to the address on the order page. The tenge is handed over at the meeting once the required number of network confirmations is reached.
Buying crypto — hand over the cash at the meeting: it is counted and checked in your presence, and the crypto is sent to your address within 30 minutes.

Good to know

Send your crypto in a single transaction and on the network specified in the order.
If the meeting takes place after the order has expired or the cash amount differs from the order amount, the operator will tell you the amount at the current rate before completing the acceptance. If you do not agree, your cash is returned to you in full on the spot.
If your crypto arrives after the deadline or in a different amount, the order is executed at a new rate only with your explicit consent; otherwise the funds are refunded.
Count the cash and check its authenticity before the handover is complete.
Come to the meeting yourself: the sender and the recipient of funds under an order must be the person who created it.

Checks and security

Every incoming crypto transaction goes through an automatic AML check. Documents are not requested by default — only in case of elevated risk or if the law requires it. See the AML / KYT / KYC Policy for details.
